Apostole vita interiore

Cara Maurizia ,

grazie per essere venuta a solidarizzare con la COMPAGNIA DEI GLOBULI ROSSI. Sii la Benvenuta!

Riporto quanto mi ha scritto accettando l’invito a CON-DIVIDERE:
Carissimo Angelo,
se a te va bene avrei pensato di aprire anch’io una rubrica sul vostro sito, un po’ diversa da quella di Mirco, così che ci sia spazio per tutti i gusti. Si potrebbe intitolare “Qui per voi”(o qualcosa del genere) e potrei rispondere alle domande di chi ha questioni, dubbi sulla fede: ad es. perchè confessarsi, perché andare a Messa la domenica, come si può parlare con Dio, cosa pensa Dio dell’amore?… Sarebbe bello che le domande venissero dai ragazzi, così sono sicura di parlare di qualcosa che interessa… ma se all’inizio nessuno scrive posso iniziare con un tema di interesse generale, che sia la risposta a domande che molti fanno.
Praticamente, che cosa devo fare?

Ci sono persone che studiano il corpo umano per curarne le patologie. Altre che studiano la psiche, per la stessa ragione. Non mancano coloro che approfondiscono la vita interiore per dedicare particolari attenzioni a chi, stanco della superficialità, desidera dare un senso alla sua esistenza.
Maurizia è una di queste persone “specializzate”, a tempo pieno a disposizione di Dio ma anche dei ragazzi e delle ragazze che intendono uscire dalla mediocrità. Attraverso la rubrica QUI MAURIZIA. Pronto…?, non solo svolgerà  un servizio alla COMPAGNIA DEI GLOBULI ROSSI, ma anche a coloroche non vorranno perdere una simile opportunità.

Ma chi è Maurizia? Lasciamolo dire a lei.

MAURIZIA SI PRESENTA 

(Il testo è stato scritto nel 2003, alla vigilia dei voti. Oggi Maurizia ha tre anni in più ed è una consacrata a tempo pieno).

IL “COME” DELLA MIA VOCAZIONE

Sono Maurizia, ho quasi 22 anni e questo è ormai il terzo anno che trascorro nella comunità delle Apostole della Vita interiore.

E’ difficile spiegare come mai sono finita qui e perché il prossimo 8 dicembre emetterò, per la prima volta, i voti di povertà, castità ed obbedienza… io, che non avevo mai pensato di diventare una suora!!!

Beh… forse non è poi così strano, perché, nel profondo del cuore, forse nascosta da altri pensieri più ingombranti e più urgenti, ho sempre avuto una certezza: “Se Tu esisti, Dio, devi essere davvero importante per me, non puoi essere marginale nella mia vita: meriti di essere preso sul serio!”.

“Se Tu esisti, Dio”…

In realtà dentro di me non ho mai dubitato della Tua esistenza, ma ho iniziato a cercare, non so nemmeno bene cosa: una prova che ci sei, la risposta a qualche domanda di teologia, l’incontro con Te… o forse semplicemente un po’ meno di superficialità.

Perché mi davano fastidio quei segni di croce del mattino, fatti così per fare, quelle messe vissute senza passione, quella fede un po’ sbiadita ed annacquata di cui mi ricordavo solo la domenica mattina…

“Perché se Tu esisti, Dio, non posso vivere così!”

E Ti ho cercato: Ti ho cercato nei libri, perché sono fatta così, volevo una prova che non fosse stupido abbandonarmi a Te.

E, quasi subito, ho capito che ci sei!

Ma quanto vuoto ancora! Non mi bastava sapere che eri lì, da qualche parte, che avevo dimostrato il teorema che enuncia la tua esistenza!

“Ci sei, sei vivo: Ti voglio incontrare!”, mi ripetevo quando avevo il tempo e il coraggio di pensare a Te.

Ed ecco che hai mandato sui miei passi due occhi, un volto, una persona che mi hanno parlato di Te. Mi sono subito fidata di Elena, sapeva di cielo e lasciava trasparire il tuo Amore. Le ho scritto, ci siamo incontrate, mi ha parlato della preghiera, me ne ha fatto fare l’esperienza… e mi sono sentita toccata da vicino.

La mia avventura alla ricerca di Te stava diventando tremendamente seria… ed esigente: Elena mi aveva chiesto di pregare ogni giorno almeno per mezz’ora…

Incredibilmente non avevo voglia di scappare e in cuor mio ho detto: “Sì, ci sto, perché davvero Ti voglio incontrare!” e nella pace del cuore ho continuato a parlare con Te: “Tu solo sei ciò che conta, mi voglio innamorare di Te, e regalare agli altri la gioia che Tu mi donerai!”

… era il 2 gennaio 2000, in quella sera come birilli sono crollati tutti i miei progetti: facevo l’ultimo anno di liceo e volevo diventare una brava insegnante di matematica, per permettere agli altri di vivere l’esperienza positiva della scuola che  avevo vissuto io.

Ho pensato: “Ma che cosa vale la pena insegnare? Quale verità più grande di Gesù Cristo? Signore, io voglio portare agli altri Te, la tua gioia, non la mia “vana” passione per i numeri”.

Così è nata la mia vocazione di apostola.

Da quella sera ho iniziato a pregare e ad andare a messa ogni giorno. Ho comunicato ad Elena i miei desideri, la mia gioia e qualche fatica nell’essere fedele a quel sì che avevo detto. La profonda pace del cuore trasformava la mia vita quotidiana e rendeva gustose le piccole cose, mi innamoravo sempre di più del Signore e della comunità delle Apostole.

Così terminate le scuole superiori, a 19 anni, dopo pochi mesi da quella sera, con grande gioia e convinzione, insieme a Clara e Sabina, sono entrata a far parte della comunità delle  Apostole della Vita Interiore

Chi sono le Apostole della Vita Interiore?

Appartengono alla comunità delle Apostole della Vita Interiore, ragazze consacrate che si dedicano ad un apostolato diretto di evangelizzazione a tempo pieno e offrono un servizio di assistenza spirituale per la formazione interiore.

Cosa Fanno?

L’incontro di Gesù con la Samaritana al pozzo di Giacobbe è l’episodio evangelico ispiratore delle Apostole della Vita Interiore. Dopo il suo colloquio personale con Gesù, la Samaritana diventa subito missionaria e annuncia ai suoi fratelli: “Venite e vedete, ho incontrato il Messia“.

 

L’Apostola della Vita Interiore privilegia perciò il colloquio personale e dice: “Venite e vedete, ho incontrato Gesù”. Si dedicano a tempo pieno alla formazione interiore. Sono specializzate nell’accompagnamento (o direzione) spirituale e discernimento vocazionale. Aiutano tutti, specialmente i giovani, a
risolvere i loro problemi spirituali,introducendoli gradatamente alla vita di preghiera. Inoltre predicano Ritiri ed Esercizi Spirituali, tengono Conferenze di approfondimento della fede, organizzano gruppi di preghiera e Centri di ascolto, svolgono Missioni popolari, preparano all’apostolato e al Matrimonio.
Dove operano?
  • Nei loro centri di spiritualità.
  • Nelle Parrocchie.
  • Nelle famiglie.
  • In case di Ritiri ed Esercizi Spirituali.
  • Ovunque ci sia una persona disponibile alla conversione e alla crescita interiore.

Come si preparano?

  • Con una intensa vita di preghiera
  • Con gli studi filosofici e teologici possibilmente in una Università Pontificia.
  • Con la pratica all’apostolato.
  • Con la vita comunitaria.

UN INVITO AMICHEVOLE

  • A te, giovane in ricerca,      studente delle scuole superiori o dei primi anni dell’università,      è rivolto un invito semplice e lungimirante:     non lasciarti travolgere dal vortice della superficialità      che segue la logica moderna del “tutto e subito” e del divertimento facile.
  • Presta attenzione anche alle maglie stringenti      di una ricerca cavillosa di tutti i particolari per decidere della tua vita,      modello di un perfezionismo umano ben lontano da quanto Dio ha pensato per te.
  • Lasciati invece guidare dalla luce del Signore      che illumina la tua mente e riscalda il tuo cuore, muovendo così i tuoi passi verso di Lui.
  • Dai retta a quelle intuizioni ed ispirazioni che Dio pone dentro di te;      seguile con fiducia, ancorandoti a Lui,     pietra viva, dal quale tutto l’edificio della tua vita trae forza e vigore.

“Getta sul Signore il tuo affanno ed Egli ti darà sostegno, mai permetterà che il giusto vacilli (sal 54,23).

  • Se offrirai davvero al Signore le primizie della tua vita,      cioè la giovinezza che stai vivendo…allora non resterai deluso: 
  • Egli darà alla vocazione che ha pensato per te e che realizza pienamente quello che sei,  la forza e il vigore che solo la Sua grazia può conferire.
  • Sarai allora un bravo sposo, o sposa, padre o madre, sacerdote, consacrato o consacrata, …nella piena realizzazione della volontà di Dio sulla tua vita.

Buon cammino, il Signore sia con te e benedica i tuoi propositi.

Adesso che sai quasi tutto di me, ogni volta che vorrai, potrai  pormi una domanda, inviarmi una confidenza, leggere le richieste e le risposte del’altri…

 

 

Cara MAURIZIA, ti trasmetto le primizie raccolte su un blog dopo aver messo in circolazione la nuova rubrica e il “COME” della tua vocazione. Per il momento ti devi accontentare:
1).Tutto molto bello, solo su una cosa non sono del tutto d’accordo con Maurizia, quando dice.” come potevo servire il Signore facendo l’insegnante di matematica, con dei numeri…?”; beh, io credo che si possa seguire Gesù in tanti modi, anche insegnando matematica…un abbraccio a tutte la Apostole della Vita interiore. gattoquatto
2) Si Marco…concordo… si può evangelizzare in qualsiasi momento…qualunque sia la situazione del momento..Gesù è ovunque, nella nostra quotidianità., nei gesti…nella matematica, logica che Lui ci ha dato…se si fa tutto nel Suo nome, stiamo già facendo i missionari! Benedettaj
3) “…volevo diventare una brava insegnante di matematica, per permettere agli altri di vivere l’esperienza positiva della scuola che avevo vissuto io”.
Non sta disprezzando l’umano. Ma se avverte una chiamata, le viene chiesto di lasciare la cosa che ama di piu’ per LUI. Non vi pare?
Pescare, riscuotere le tasse…sono mestieri rispettabili ma quando Gesu’ passa , fissa negl’occhi Simone, Giovanni, Matteo…e dice: “Vieni, seguimi…lasciate le reti, piantato li’ tutto lo seguirono… Lascia che i morti seppelliscano i loro morti…Va’, vendi…seguimi”.
Perche’ la chiamata e’ dono e mistero. Non diceva cosi’ Giovanni Paolo II ? angelo
5) Beh Angelo, certamente…Se Dio chiama alla consacrazione totale a Lui, ovviamente si deve fare una scelta, lasciare tutto e seguirlo, come la sposa on il suo sposo…. Il mio commento sopra, era inteso come evangelizzazione laica, un qualcosa che possiamo fare tutti noi, pur con la nostra vocezione matrimoniale….forse mi ero spiegata malino….hehe….Che Dio benedica Maurizia….Grazie Gesù! Cara Maurizia, nella festa dei Santi, vieni nelle catapecchie del nostro spirito a spargere profumi di santita’, il “soave odore di Cristo”.

 

Carissimi Benedetta, gattoquatto (?), Angelo e tutti gli altri,

scusate la mia assenza, ma sono stata a Urbino per un po’ di giorni e non avevo la possibilità di entrarel sito. Ho poi avuto un po’ di problemi ad accedere, ora però sembra che tutto funzioni, meno male!!!! Sono stata contenta nel vedere che la discussione sta prendendo piede… grazie a tutti voi!!!!
Riguardo alla matematica, sono d’accordo che anche un insegnante possa servire Dio, se fa il suo lavoro con passione. Ci mancherebbe altro!!!!
Nel caso mio mi sono semplicemente resa conto di quello che volevo comunicare agli altri: non la matematica, ma Gesù.
Per fare questo una vita come quella che sto facendo adesso mi aiuta di più, posso avere più strumenti, essere più diretta!!! Se avessi insegnato avrei potuto dare la testimonianza di una persona realizzata, felice, di una brava cristiana: a poche persone, tra quelle dell’ambiente scolastico, avrei potuto parlare di Gesù, non avrei avuto la possibilità di imparare tante cose. Ora invece ho una laurea in teologia, conosco molte persone, prego quattro ore al giorno, faccio tante esperienze. Insomma, ho abbandonato la matematica non perché mi impediva di servire Dio, ma perché non mi permetteva di testimoniarlo agli altri nel modo che mi sento più congeniale!!!!!
Spero di non avere complicato ulteriormente la cosa! Ci tenevo solo a precisare che apprezzo ogni vocazione. In questi anni tra le Apostole, ho conosciuto laici e laiche splendidi, che nel loro ambiente fanno molto del bene. Nel Regno di Dio c’è spazio per tutti, ognuno può sbizzarrirsi!!!!!

Grazie Maurizia per la tua pronta risposta, dopo i chiarimenti tecnici.  Il fatto che la tua comunità sia penalizzata dal fatto di non poter usare in continuazione internet per lasciare libero il telefono, la dice lunga: vivete di essenzialità e di pazienza…
Tenuto conto che dovete fare i conti anche con le risorse economiche, giacchè vivete di una ” povertà contenta e benedetta”,  come direbbe Papa Giovanni, forse qualche esperto lettore potrebbe dare suggerimenti per superare questo ostacolo. Vediamo!
Le domande da rivolgerti  sarebbero tante ed usciranno pian piano.
Intanto, se vuoi, puoi dirci cosa ci fa una donna “teologa”, mestiere che sembrava riservato agli uomini o, meglio, ai chierici? I laici devono devono essere scoraggiati ad occuparsi di “cose sacre” limitandosi alla “profanità” del mondo o devono darsi una svegliata…

Matematica e spiritualità: un’equazione senza soluzione? diFabio Ballabio

Sono ormai frequenti i casi di laici che, a tempo pieno o parziale, investono le proprie conoscenze teoriche e pratiche a servizio di una comunità cristiana. Dismessi i panni da professionisti, svelato l’inganno che in pastorale li vuole nulla più che semplici esecutori, scoprono che la techne greca, l’arte della partecipazione consapevole, è possibile anche nella chiesa. Immediato è il conflitto con molti laici e presbiteri che li scoraggiano a occuparsi di “cose sacre” limitandosi alla “profanità” del mondo. A costoro rispondono: “la teologia siamo (anche) noi”. Fanno così eco a quanto il docente di logica Piergiorgio Odifreddi scrive in apertura di un suo libro: “la cultura siamo (anche) noi”. La lotta del laico con la teologia e del matematico con la cultura è, in fondo, la medesima.

La purezza di una teologia e di una cultura riservate rispettivamente ai presbiteri e ai docenti di filosofia sta tornando di moda. Eppure sono molti e celebri i connubi tra scienza e filosofia, letteratura e teologia, tecnica e cultura. Basti qualche esempio in campo filosofico: Cartesio, Husserl, Kant, Leibniz, Nietzsche, Pitagora, Platone, Schopenhauer; oppure qualche caso letterario: Abbott, Borges, Calvino, Carroll, Dante, Hesse, Musil, Poe, Solženicyn, Stoker.

Memorabile resta la “pretesa” filosofica del chimico Primo Levi:

“Il tenero e delicato zinco, così arrendevole davanti agli acidi che ne fano un solo boccone, si comporta invece in modo assai diverso quando è molto puro: allora resiste ostinatamente all’attacco. I principali dispositivi elettronici che stanno alla base di televisione e computer si prestano a una riflessione simile. I materiali semiconduttori che li compongono presentano allo stato puro una conducibilità ridotta. Per incrementare tale proprietà di permeabilità alla corrente elettrica vengono “drogati” con elementi di diversa struttura atomica. Tale operazione rinnova la vitalità di materiali altrimenti inerti o sterili. Nessuna operazione che oggi pare elementare come inviare una mail o vedere un telegiornale sarebbe possibile senza questo “drogaggio”. Non sarebbe difficile far risalire un simile “elogio dell’impurezza” fino Galileo Galilei che, avendo scoperto le macchie solari, venne accusato di mettere in dubbio l’incorruttibilità dei corpi celesti.

Pero oggi può bastare.

E va bene, riprendiamo a parlare della matematica.

Non voglio fare discorsi troppo astratti e difficili, che lasciano il tempo che trovano.

Vi voglio semplicemente comunicare perché mi piace la matematica. La matematica mi è piaciuta perché, in un certo senso, mi ha spinto a guardare in profondità, ad andare oltre.

Quelle ore di lezione spese a parlare di vari sistemi, di varie geometrie, di diversi tipi di infinito mi stimolavano tante domande: ma come fa a tornare tutto così perfettamente? Come è possibile che una costruzione così astratta  spesso rispecchi la realtà e permetta di ragionare su di essa? Dov’è il fondamento di tutto? C’è una verità o solo una correttezza, una coerenza rispetto a dei presupposti?

Nasceva in me tanta meraviglia per ciò che la mente umana aveva prodotto… per non parlare della passione di chi è immerso in un problema e vuole trovarne la soluzione.

La matematica ha acceso in me la voglia di conoscere, di capire, di trovare un senso… mi ha insegnato a cercare e ragionare.

Ma ora il mio campo di investigazione è più ampio. Le domande che mi ponevo (perché, cos’è la verità?) erano troppo grandi per riguardare solo un ambito ristretto (la matematica) ed essere poste solo da una parte di me (l’intelligenza).

Ora cerco il senso in tutta la mia vita (e quella degli altri) con tutta me stessa (corpo, anima e spirito). In fondo è quello che la liturgia di domenica scorsa ci ha proposto: Amare il Signore con tutta l’anima, la mente e le forze e il prossimo come se stessi.

Sono felice perché ho trovato il mio modo di amare Dio e gli altri e non mi manca la matematica… anche se ancora mi piace!!

Ovviamente, anche se ho trovato la mia strada, la ricerca continua, perché Dio, si fa sempre cercare. Lo trovi e si nasconde, poi riappare più luminoso e affascinante di prima…

che sia un’intellettualoide pazza persa nel pianeta dei numeri!!!! Semplicemente sono affezionata alla matematica per quello cheha acceso in me: la passione della ricerca, che poi si è trasformata in ricerca esistenziale di Dio

Come vedi, dovrai fare i conti con la nostra cocciutaggine, tipica anche degli apostoli prima della Pentecoste.
Possiamo accantonare la matematica  ma non eludere  una domanda  che è già stata posta nel Vangelo ed ha avuto  anche una risposta che dovrebbe essere soddisfacente ma, a quanto pare, sembra non esserlo.
Perciò questa domanda si ripropone ad ogni generazione, giacché riguarda lo scopo e il senso dell’esistenza umana.
Quali che siano le nostre attuali convinzioni reliogiose, mi sembra utile invitare ogni lettore alla condivisione di un breve scambio di battute fra Gesù e un “dottore di Legge”, di cui riferisce Luca in 10, 25-37.
E’ una pagina emblematica. Infatti, dopo duemila anni,  la realtà si presenta in tutta la sua drammaticità. Non so voi:  personalmente, ci rimango di sasso.
La domanda del dottore: ” Che cosa devo fare per avere la vita eterna?”
In un linguaggio tipicamente ebraico, viene posta la questione sul significato dell’essere dell’uomo.  L’intellettuale getta sul tavolo quel  “problema fondamentale che tiene con fiato sospeso allo stesso modo teologi e filosofi (…) riguardante la vita eterna, il fondamento, lo scopo e il senso dell’esistenza umana” ( H. Thielicke, E se Dio esiste…, 1975, pag.159,160).
La risposta di Gesù è disarmante, forse anche irritante:  ama Dio, e ama il tuo prossimo. Abbi fiducia nel Padre e renditi solidale con i fratelli.
A una domanda così cruciale, una risposta così semplicistica?
Se così fosse, ti occorreva laurearti in teologia? In parte la provocazione era già stata formulata in precedenza, solo che la matematica l’ha posta in ombra.

hee…difficile trovare una risposta alle nostre domande….spesso ci penso..mi chiedo se cio’ che faccio è giusto, è cio’ che Lui vuole….cerco di seguire la Sua strada, con i miei limiti e se mi volto indietro, rivedo un sacco di belle esperienze condivise con persone che pregano, chiedono aiuto, invecchiano….ma Lui , ogni giorno, ci chiama a nuove cose….ad operare nel Suo nome…a rinnovarci.. Spirito Santo, donaci sempre il dono dell’intelletto, il dono del consiglio, del discernimento, affinchè non dobbiamo mai inoltrarci in sentieri erranti…..Grazie Maurizia!

Volevi dire che non dobbiamo dipendere?
Si’. Pero’ viviamo dentro una storia di salvezza in cui Dio e’ gia’ presente ma non ancora percepito. La strada e’ piena di curve pericolose che fanno capottare le macchine.
Che io sappia, Dio non si e’ mai fatto vedere all’angolo della strada per dirci da che parte dovessimo andare.
Da che parte andiamo? Qual e’ la meta della nostra storia? La mia, la tua, la nostra?

UNA MOLLA PER L’INCONTRO CON L’AMORE

Vi sarà capitato di trascorrere un po’ di tempo in un bar affollato, in una piazza piena di gente, in un autobus o nella metro: tanti rumori che si sovrappongono, si scontrano e generano una grande confusione.

Spesso però la nostra testa può rimbombare anche in un perfetto silenzio esteriore. Dentro di noi urlano diverse voci:

  • “Non sono capace di fare questo”,
  • “Marco è più bravo di me”,
  • “Perché non ho mai tempo?”,
  • “Sono pieno di difetti”,
  • “Non ho soldi”…

Quanto fastidio ci danno i nostri limiti. Vorremmo poterli estirpare da noi e gettare nel fuoco, allora ci sentiremmo forti e realizzati.

Ma ascoltiamo attentamente le voci che si affollano nella nostra mente: non sono sempre le sbarre di una gabbia, spesso sono una molla che ci lancia verso l’alto.

La macchina con cui tutti i giorni ci rechiamo al lavoro, il telefono che squillerà tra poco, il forno che usiamo per cucinare e tutti prodigi della tecnica sono frutto dei nostri limiti. Le difficoltà sono uno stimolo per l’intelligenza dell’uomo, che è chiamato a dare nuove risposte per far fronte alle diverse situazioni. Così l’uomo cresce, migliora se stesso e la società.

Di fronte alle sfide che il mondo ci pone innanzi, noi sviluppiamo pienamente la nostra personalità e “liberiamo lo spirito”.

Se fossimo onnipotenti, come potremmo giungere a Dio?

Solo quando siamo consapevoli dei nostri limiti, ci scopriamo fragili creature. Allora spontaneamente alziamo gli occhi e diciamo, con meraviglia e confidenza: “Dio, mi sfuggono tante cose, ho bisogno di te”. E’ quello che fin dalle origini i nostri simili hanno fatto.

Nelle pagine del Vangelo leggiamo che il buon ladrone, proprio durante la sua agonia sulla croce, ha riconosciuto in Gesù l’immenso amore di Dio. E per lui sono state pronunciate parole di salvezza: “Oggi sarai con me in Paradiso” (Lc, 23,43).

La storia si ripete ai nostri giorni. Quante volte Dio si serve dei momenti in cui l’uomo si sente più debole per andargli incontro a braccia aperte e mostrarsi come padre! Forse voi stessi potreste suggerirmi i nomi e raccontarmi le storie di alcune persone che durante la malattia o una forte sofferenza (ad esempio la morte di una persona cara) si sono avvicinate alla fede. Hanno smesso di inseguire cose “inutili”, certe che la vera gioia deriva dal saper accogliere l’amore di Dio. Chi è stato testimone di queste esperienze ha toccato con mano come Dio possa fare meraviglie quando l’uomo, consapevole della propria fragilità, si affida totalmente a Lui. “Quando sono debole è allora che sono forte”, scriveva san Paolo.

Può meravigliarci, però, constatare che anche il limite del peccato può essere l’occasione del nostro incontro con Dio.

Le parole che Gesù rivolge a Zaccheo sono di grande conforto per tutti. Infatti Gesù dice a ciascuno di noi: ”Il Figlio dell’Uomo è venuto a salvare ciò che era perduto” (cfr. Lc 19,20). Egli è venuto a cercarci proprio in mezzo ai nostri limiti, per donarci la salvezza, cioè la felicità più profonda e duratura. Ogni volta che, carichi dei nostri limiti, ci accostiamo al sacramento della riconciliazione, il Signore ci dona un cuore nuovo, capace di amare.

Ancora più sorprendente, però, è il fatto che la nostra esperienza più profonda dell’amore di Dio avverrà per il limite più grande di qualsiasi uomo di qualsiasi tempo: la morte. Quale debolezza più grande? Quale realtà è più temuta? Di fronte a che altro l’uomo è più impotente?

Eppure è proprio attraverso questo passaggio che saremo fissati nell’eternità. E’ proprio il limite supremo, che ha vissuto anche Gesù, che ci permetterà di godere per sempre l’amore di Dio.

Ascoltando le voci che si affollano nella mente ricordandoci le nostre debolezze è facile perdere la pace. Certamente rimane difficile accettare i nostri limiti, specialmente in una società così competitiva, dove sembra amabile solo ciò che è perfetto.

Proviamo però a guardarci come Dio ci vede. Egli ci ama con un affetto ed una tenerezza unica. I nostri limiti, non sono un ostacolo al suo amore, ma un’occasione di incontro con Lui. Possiamo allora pregare perché ogni momento di debolezza che viviamo (a casa, a scuola, sul lavoro, con gli amici..) ci aiuti a spalancare il cuore e a rivolgerci con sincerità a colui che solo è la nostra forza.

Cara Maurizia,
                         grazie per le parole di consolazione che sei venuta a portarci. Queste in particolare: “Le parole che Gesù rivolge a Zaccheo sono di grande conforto per tutti. Infatti Gesù dice a ciascuno di noi: ”Il Figlio dell’Uomo è venuto a salvare ciò che era perduto” (cfr. Lc 19,20). Egli è venuto a cercarci proprio in mezzo ai nostri limiti…”
Questa mattina, sui “mezzi”, ho viaggiato in compagnia  del grande JEAN GUITTON, vecchio saggio, noto filosofo, grande credente.
Leggendo una parte della lunga intervista cui èstato sottoposto, mi sei venuta in mente quando è stato toccato il tasto esistenza,  giovani, educazione…tutti temi che stanno a cuore anche a te, apostola della vita interiore.
Per tanti di noi la tua può risultare una vocazione un po’ misteriosa, giacchè abbiamo la tendenza più a parlare di Dio che a Dio e la proliferazione dei  blog cattolici ne sono una dimostrazione.
Non so gli altri, ma guardarmi dentro, intervenire sull’anima col bisturi  della radicalità evangelica mi mette un po’ di fifa e trovo sempre delle buone giustificazioni per rimandare l’intervento chirurgico. Per cui, quando una giovane suora, ispirandosi alla Samaritana al Pozzo, mi viene a dire: “Venite e vedrete. Ho incontrato il Messia“, l’istinto è di fuga: questa  donna ti legge nel cuore.
Sono certo che, quando sarà cresciuta la confidenza, saremo in tanti a ringraziarti per l’umile servizio che sei venuta a svolgere tra le nostre “teste di legno”, in cambio di nulla.
Ma torniamo al filosofo Guitton. L’intervistatrice Francesca Pini chiede:
Che cosa manca all’educazione delle giovani generazioni?
  • Le nuove generazioni non hanno nè guida, né bussola, né maestri. Quando si parla con un giovane ci si accorge che è disorientato perché si trova di fronte a problemi che gli appaiono insolubili: senza più fiducia nè nella tradizione, ne nei suoi maestri, nè nei suoi superiori. E’ solo nella tempesta

Quello che manca all’educazione  di oggi è l’umanesimo?

  • In questo momento, i giovani hanno il dovere di essere profondamente umanisti e immergersi nella cultura, anche se ciò non assicura loro una regola di vita, ma solo una buona informazione. Oggi guardano la televisione, leggono i giornali, visitano i musei, viaggiano: sono al corrente di quasi tutto. L’informazione varia con le culture e più questa sarà ampia, più l’uomo sarà colto, e maggiori possibilità avrà. Questa però ci dà solo notizie, ma non forma l’individuo. Ora , il giovane della nostra epoca non ha bisogno di notizie e commenti, dai quali è sommerso dalla televisione: ha invece bisogno di una formazione, che troverà nei filosofi. Per formare l’uomo occorrerebbero guide spirituali.

Guide, maestri esclusivamente cattolici?

  • Non necessariamente, basta che siano intelligenti ed equilibrati. Possono essere laici o buddisti, ma devono essere veri maestri. Per me la definizione di maestro è racchiusa in questa formula: ” E’ colui che è inferiore a ognuno ma superiore a tutti” E’ colui che non sa nulla, che si informa presso di noi ma che, una volta informato, è superiore a tutti perchè fa la sintesi di ogni conoscenza.

E’ un augurio per te, cara Maurizia ed un richiamo a noi, non più giovani, ma ancora così bisognosi di guide spirituali.
