STRETTAMENTE PERSONALE

Quando ho avuto modo di leggere tutto d’un fiato  la Circolare del Priore Generale Fatebenefratelli del 27 Maggio 2012,  ho avuto subito una pessima reazione istintiva. Neanche prevedessi il futuro, a dir poco, sono rimasto sbalordito. La gallina che bolle in pentola è sempre la stessa: far accettare ai Fratelli Ospedalieri che storcono il naso, la “FAMIGLIA ALLARGATA“, che va sotto il nome di Famiglia di San Giovanni di Dio.

Sbalordito da che cosa?  Non dalla cosa in sè che potrebbe anche essere buona, positiva. Solo che mi sembra un po’ “sognata“. Come di un ragazzo che si sia perdutamente innamorato di una affascinante ragazza e di cui lei non sa nulla o non sospetta quanto sia viscerale. E chi di cose di cuore se ne intende sa che esistono anche le INFATUAZIONI.

Di per sé “infatuazione” non è un termine negativo, anzi è un periodo prezioso durante il quale la coppia nascente sperimenta sentimenti molto forti e positivi. Ma non è scontato che entrambi i membri della coppia provino lo stesso sentimento. Vado per titoli:

  1. Infatuazione erotica.
  2. Infatuazione competitiva.

  3. Infatuazione da dominio.

  4. Infatuazione divistica.

  5. Infatuazione da mancanza di progetto.

Anche se tutte interessanti, tralascio le prime quattro per dire della quinta, frequentissima tra i “giovani” di oggi. Ma anche tra i vecchi che fanno i giovani. Deriva dalla mancata progettazione del proprio futuro, dal vivere alla giornata. Ci si dice: “massì oggi sto così bene con quella persona”, e non ci si cura del fatto che, forse, domani certe differenze potrebbero far crollare il castello di sabbia. Qualche esempio?

  • “Tu vuoi fare figli e io no”,
  • “tu vuoi andare all’estero e io no”,
  • “tu vuoi seguire i consigli di… come se fosse il Vangelo e io no”.

Sono esempi colti dall’ordinarietà. Mutatis mutandis, tutto ciò può accadere anche tra queste due componenti di cui una ha bisogno dell’altra per sopravvivere. Nei documenti si possono citare le Scritture, i Pontefici…, ma,  sotto sotto, servono a supportare la tesi. Perché la RADICALITA’ EVANGELICA non risulta essere nelle dichiarate intenzioni delle parti.

Preoccupa l’osservatore il modo con cui si è giunti ad annunciar le nozze.

  • C’è stata una proposta di matrimonio?
  • La controparte ha detto sì? 
  • Ha posto delle condizioni?
  • Che si tratti di un silenzio assenso ?
  • E con quale criterio sono stati scelti i rappresentanti delle parti? Per elezione o d’ufficio?
  • La coppia è disposta a giurarsi eterna fedeltà?

Appartengo a quel gruppo di giovani coagulatisi attorno a un misero ciclostilato a petrolio, che si chiamava “OPZIONI ’70“.  Già dal titolo s’intuisce che ci porta lontano nel tempo. Un’esperienza che ha avuto vita breve ma forte incidenza emotiva tra i favorevoli e i contrari a “optare”, ossia fare delle scelte che s’intendevano “evangeliche”.

Il numero dei componenti le due fazioni allora non superava le 150 persone, ma quel fallimento  e quella lacerazione bruciano ancora nelle nostre carni, nonostante anni di slogan sull’ “ospitalità” e l’ “umanizzare”. Forte di quella esperienza, ci vedo un’anticipazione in miniatura di quanto potrebbe ripetersi, ma questa volta ALLA GRANDE per via dei numeri e della posta in gioco. Qui infatti, stando alle statistiche 2011, si parla di un 700 religiosi (età media 65 anni) e 43.000 laici “collaboratori”, assortiti e disseminati nei cinque Continenti. Le parti dovrebbero sancire un PSC, ossia un  Patto di Stabilità e Crescita, molto simile all’accordo stipulato dai paesi membri dell’Unione Europea. Come vadano a finire accordi combinati nelle alte sfere e scarsa o nulla partecipazione di base, lo sappiamo bene. E sappiamo anche a cosa preparano.

Non so chi l’ha detto, ma lo pensiamo tutti: NON E’ IL POSTO CHE CI RENDE GRANDI MA SIAMO NOI CHE FACCIAMO GRANDE IL POSTO. Per analogia, non è la “Famiglia di San Giovanni di Dio” il toccasana di una crisi senza precedenti ma i componenti questo nucleo. Se FAMIGLIA  ha da essere, allora bisogna individuare le coordinate profetiche che la costituiscano. Io vedo solo queste:

  • amare,
  • educare,
  • condividere,
  • pregare.

Il Duca di Mantova in Rigoletto canta molto decisamente: “Questa o quella per me pari sono“. Ma lui era uno  spirito libertino che corteggiava la Contessa di Ceprano, provocando la rabbia del marito. Nel nostro caso, i quattro verbi sono come le gambe di un tavolo: a toglierne una, non si regge.

Quella che il Priore Generale Fra Donatus  Forkan sostiene con tutti gli argomenti possibili è un’idea bellissima. Ma è legittimo chiedersi:

E’ UN MATRIMONIO DI CONVENIENZA E RIPARATORE?

Non lo sosterrà mai nessuno. Ma,  a cinquant’anni dal Concilio Vaticano Secondo, tutto lo fa pensare.

Perché in questo lungo periodo sì è perso tempo in chiacchiere, talvolta in disquisizioni di lana caprina come quella sul “carisma sì, carisma no” dei laici collaoratori. 

In presenza di uno “tsunami”  da tempo annunciato, avanzante, violento, quale scudo di protezione? 

Un ombrello: tavole rotonde, viaggi internazionali… Quando invece sarebbe stata necessaria una terapia d’urto di LECTIO DIVINA su tutti i fronti per erigere un muro protettivo contro gli smottamenti. Sempre che non la si confonada con devote, solitarie e magari sonnalente meditazioni, pie esortazioni…

I Fratelli Ospedalieri della mia età che hanno già tagliato il traguardo del 50° di vita consacrata non sono pochi. A loro lunga vita.

 E quelli che sono in dirittura d’arrivo  o  solo più vicini al 25°, sono tanti anch’essi.

Per tutti si pone una riflessione pacata, speranzosa ma anche realistica, non fuorviante, come quando si deve fare un bilancio “consuntivo” prima di stendere quello “preventivo” per gli anni a venire.

funerale-baraNon occorre essere profeti per rendersi conto che nel prossimo decennio molti di noi concluderanno il pellegrinaggio terreno. E i sopravissuti avranno anche loro dieci anni in più sul gobbo, un calo di energie fisiche e un mutato quadro di prospettive politico-sociali. Del resto, la Regione Lombardia è da tempo che ha indicato la rotta della Sanità Pubblica e gli Ordini e Congregazioni religiose dovranno acconmtentarsi di avere un ruolo marginale, di sopravissuti, nella migliore delle ipotesi. Ma per fare cosa?

Il problema, anche a prenderlo solo dal lato finanziario, ha già rivelato tutta la sua vulnerabilità, costringendo a vendere, alienare…Ma non per risolvere, unicamente per tamponare. Pensare che sarà la “dirigenza”- oggi oggetto di tante attenzioni – a salvare la situazione  con la “gestione carismatica” è quanto di più illusorio si sia riusciti a partorire  dopo gli anni suggestivi della “umanizzazione”.

Ogni tanto mi torna sottomano il volume edito da medici della “San Giuseppe di Milano” dal titolo “REINVENTARE L’OSPEDALE“. Ne ho già parlato a lungo altrove. Di tutto quel discorso non è rimasto nulla, nè i sostenitori che si sono volatilizzati, nè dell’ospedale, affidato al miglior offerente per tamponare la voragine della “passività”, giunta al limite di un fallimento che potrebbe essere solo temporaneamente rimandato.

Prima di convolare a nozze, è d’obbligo che le due parti mettano le carte in tavola. Sempre che l’idea passi alla verifica della Congregazione dei Religiosi, l’eredità nella quale l’ Ordine Ospedaliero intende coinvolgere i “laici collaboratori” per dar vita alla “Famiglia Ospedaliera” alla quale il Capitolo Generale vuol fornire ormai copertura giuridica, non è solo tragica ma anche buffa, anacronistica, piena di incognite e di prevedibili conflitti che scatteranno tra i “dipendenti”: da una parte, classe dirigente, arroccata finche ci sarà un filo d’interessa,  dall’altra, attacchi sindacali devastanti e paralizzanti, a difesa della categoria “collaboratori”. Vangelo e carisma dell’Ospitalità andranno per primi a farsi benedire.

Messa così, sono il primo a rendermi conto di essere uno di quei “profeti di sventura” di cui diffidava il Beato Giovanni XXIII. E il tempo gli ha dato ragione.

Dio sa quanto vorrei essere anch’io smentito dalla storia.

Ma attenzione! Il “Papa buono” aveva invocato una “novella Pentecoste sulla Chiesa” e i Vescovi si sono lasciati guidare dallo Spirito.

Intendiamoci, lo fa anche il Priore Generale nella menzionata circolare e, per invocarlo, usa proprio le stesse parole del Papa: “O Santo Spirito, rinnova oggi i tuoi prodigi, come in una nuova Pentecoste”.  E Dio il prodigio è disposto a rinnovarlo.

Solo che ha noi, invocanti, corre anche l’obbligo di far funzionare il cervello e ponderare tutto con  DISCERNIMENTO ( FATEBENEFRATELLI – CAPITOLO GENERALE 2012 – PER UNA DIALETTICA DEI DISCERNIMENTI (02) ). Infatti, ciò che oggi viene chiesto ai religiosi “superstiti“, provenienti da un lungo esodo, andava formulato cinquant’anni fa e ci sarebbe stato davanti un congruo margine di tempo per soluzioni ponderate, sperimentazioni, coinvolgimento e preparazione dei laici, ecc.

Ora tutto si muove all’insegna dell’ IMPROVVISAZIONE. Ma il ritardo con la storia ha un costo salato. Non ci sono SALDI e non sono ammessi SCONTI di fine stagione.

Che siano queste solo impressioni a caldo di un esaltato? Può essere.

Cari amati, siamo qui riuniti, alla presenza di Dio, per unire questo uomo e questa donna secondo il vincolo del Sacro Matrimonio così come istituito da Dio, regolato dai Suoi comandamenti, benedetto da nostro signore Gesu Cristo, e onorato da tutti gli uomini. Perquanto queste due persone siano venute liberamente per essere unite in questo luogo sacro, se c’è qualcuno tra i presenti che è a conoscenza di qualcosa per cui non possano essere legalmente uniti in matrimonio, gli chiedo di parlare ora o di tacere per sempre.

Qui provo a rivisitare il rito del matrimonio con gli adattamenti al caso, dal momento che, per metter sù famiglia bisogna sposarsi, se non si opta per la CONVIVENZA.
